Not much happening??? Huh?

Just because I hate it when others don't update, I will quickly post and tell you all that there's not much happening here. I'm not sure how this happened, but it did. Thank God! I sometimes feel as if our life is a constant tornado of tragedy, chaos, upheaval, blah, blah, blah... This last week has been one of the calmest of our married life and I couldn't be more thankful. I spent the weekend in Ft. Wayne with Amanda. Yup, that was fun! We were completely unhurried and did basically everything we wanted (well... you know what I mean.). We even resurrected an old Plymouth tradition of going to the bookstore and sitting forever reading and drinking coffee. You know you're best friends when you can sit like that. Thanks to our sweet husbands for being willing to watch our kids for the weekend.
I also wanted to post a prayer request. I'm sure most of you heard about the tragedy in the W. Michigan district this past weekend. One of the youth pastors here lost his only baby boy in a tragic car accident. His wife and he were also seriously burned and she is still in critical condition. Not much else to say except, these people need EVERYONE'S prayers...
Well, we're gearing up for our fall kick-off at church with an all day event culminating with movies in the park on Sat. night. Should be a blast. I'll post pictures soon as I get a chance!

...spinning my wheels...waiting for life to ease up a little...and so thankful for the safety of my family on a daily basis...it's stories like those, that I had actually heard about (can't remember where) that make me look again at my current situation and be thankful.

glad you could relax with a good friend.

I love your post Holly! Reminds me of my best friends that I miss soooo much!! I love friends that you can sit and talk for hours with about nothing, laugh histerically about the silly things you've done or maybe the dumb things you've done, and cry for hours with about the last tragic event in your life or the just for the sake of crying cry! I love it! :)

Hey guys. His name is Tabor McComiskey. He and his wife Julie are from Canada. I don't know them but know another pastor from the church in Burnips. Doubt Adam would know them but I'm not sure. If you link to Dan and Angie's site there are some pics. The little boys name was Taylen. Just an absolute angel of a little boy. It's just makes my heart sick...

Thanks Holly--We don't know them, but our heart aches for them the same. Cindy (Adam's mom) has been keeping up with it in the paper. I pray the wife can recover from her burns. Peanut is baby number 2. I am 8 weeks along -- due May 8th. When I was prego with Rylee, Adam just hated calling her "it" or "the baby" so we refer to the baby as Peanut until we know if it is boy or girl and then can call Peanut by their real name. What can I say?!?! We are weird, but happy.

I miss you two. I'm preaching more often, and for some reason, I think about Jason when I prepare my messages.
