Last Tuesday night we (well....Grandma...) took all of us girls to the Broadway Theatre Guild's production of "Annie". Zoe and Emmy are pretty obsessive about the movie and can often be heard singing rousing rendition's of "Tomorrow" with way too much vibrato. (I'm not kidding...) We thought they'd love the live version and decided to make a night out of it. We got the girls dressed up in matching dresses and went out to a really nice dinner beforehand. Really, it was just too much fun! Here are some pictures of our evening. P.S.- I have a couple more entries of our Thanksgiving weekend and our visit with the Hummel's that I can't wait to for you all to see, but Blogger is just being a pain in the B-U-T-T!!! Hopefully tomorrow.....
Yeah, a new post! The girls are so pretty. Aren't you glad you have a girl you can dress up and do girly things with? It's so much fun. Your mom looks great. I remember meeting her several years ago and she hasn't changed a bit. You and Shelly look wonderful too. You certainly don't look like you've had three kids. What a blessing.
Seriously, you have a BEAUTIFUL family! All the frills, hair, dresses, musicals, girly-ness...sometimes I envy you all from over here in my world of boogers, jockstraps, and worms....ok, so there are no jockstraps....
Holly, Emmy is going to be quite the lady. She and your neice look adorable in their fineist. Is that a word? She was so cute sitting on the footstool with her leg crossed telling me about ballet school. Very expressive. I enjoyed seeing the kids and both of you. It is hard to imagine that all of you are getting older and the kids are aging too. They are all quite cute. It is good you are all coming home again for the Christmas holiday. Hope to see all of you.
OoooooKAY! I wasn't expecting to CRY because of your mom's post! Gees! She should be a writer or something! Pics are adorable and I am MORE than JEALOUS that you went to see "the real" Annie! Lvoe amanda
Absolutely precious! I wanted to take Allie to that when it was here in Des Moines but she didn't want to go. :-/ She said, (and I am quoting)"I can't see that show! That girl's hair is hideous!" I was bummed but it did save me $50.00. I am glad you got to go though!
