Just some random pics from our afternoon at the park. These were taken at Wilcox Park, one of our favorite Eastown locales. It's right behind Emmy's preschool and is a breeding ground for interesting people and conversation. Jason took an early lunch and met Emmy, Zeke and I for an hour of fun before walking Emmy to school. I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again... I love city life. Maybe someday it's excitement will wear thin, but at the moment I'm finding it endlessly fascinating. So are the kids, thank God!
P.S. To all my American Idol peeps...just wondering if America is totally DEAF!!! Let's see, Katherine, or BUCKY COVINGTON!!! Ohmigosh...does that even make rational sense? I told Amanda (Aspenson) if she was voted off I was officially withdrawing my viewership. Thankfully, America voted off Lisa!!! Any comments?

Great to see the pics Holly! Angie and I are totally with ya - city life is the BEST (and admittedly, we're pretty partial to Minneapolis).
On the American Idol front (which, by the way, really IS my favorite topic): Bucky has DEFINITELY got to go. And yes, Angie and I just about dropped a load in our pants when Katharine was standing there with Lisa. I really do think that the top 3 will be Katharine, Taylor and Chris ...
Jason practically worships Taylor Hicks. Not really, but you know what I mean. I'm hoping Elliot sneaks into the top, but I doubt it. Why are we so obsessed???
Okay, I have no comments about this season's American Idol . . . I've never watched a single episode. But I feel like I'm missing out on a cultural phenomenon. I was at the park in the fall, and someone told me that Carrie Underwood was standing behind me. I turned around and there she was, but alas, I had nothing to say. Had never seen the show. I'm glad I didn't say anything, because I thought she was the girl from Nashville Star. Oops.

Hi Holly! Love the pictures!! Such a cute family:) You've gotta love the weather we are having these last couple of days!! I'm with you all the way on the Idol picks!! I don't get the whole Bucky thing...he really needs to go! Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk with you when you were in Kazoo to see baby Lauren! Some day soon I'm sure!!

What a cute family!!! I loved living in Dallas and city life is the best. Thanks for keeping us all in the loop. As for the race for the champion I think it is a horse race between Taylor and Chris but I have been wrong before. Love you all and I am thankful the weather is improving (don't tell Kelley)
Those are the sweetest pictures. I love the one of Jason and Zeke. I am with you 100% on the Idol thing. I couldn't believe Katherine was there. As a country fan, I can say, Bucky is the kind of country that gives us all a bad name. I had a great time with you and Emmy today. I'm so glad you could come. Love ya!
Hey, I agree about Idol also. Not sure anyone can compare to Carrie Underwood. She has been my very favorite out of all. Probably because she is country! It was great to see you and Emmy yesterday! Maybe Kel and I can come up for a weekend sometime in May. Later.
I agree- almost about Carrie. Kelly Clarkson is still my fave, with Carrie a close second. I think they both have long careers ahead of them. Had a blast yesterday, was good to see you all! Would love to have you come up and see the place.
What a beautiful family! Your little ones are so precious! It looks like you're having a blast! We're outside for hours every day the sun has been out ... Hayden insists on non-stop running/jumping/playing! We're loving the weather down here, too! Thanks for sharing your day in the park with us!

I'm so stinking excited that this is you!!!!!!! My brother finally got in on the blogging thing,and he has led me to you, Dan and Angie, Jen Swift...and so many more! You pictures are adorable! I can't believe it! Time has gone by so quickly. I think our Chorale Assistant Conductor needs to organize a reunion! I'm so glad to found all of you!
