Well, onto less exhausting subjects.... It's officially summer break here. It really is a relief not to be living in my car taking kids to and from school. They've even blessed me with a couple of very late mornings; not getting up 'til 9:30! Ahh..... We've already spent one day at the beach, been down to Marion, OH to see the fam, and been spending LOTS of time in Josh and Shelly's hot tub. Today we spent the day at my mom and dad's to stay out of Jay's way as he was putting in the slider. Emmy, Zoe and my Mom had a girls day out today and attached is a picture of them with their Build-a-Bears. My mom is holding the one they made for Ava, since she would've been a big part of their girls day. They also each brought home a pink balloon and let them go "to her". Emmy's got stuck in a tree (of course!) and she said, "It's OK, she can see it. She's knows it for her." Funny how big a part of every moment she really TRULY is. All the kids have such an uncanny ability to recognize the things she's missing from.
Well, I've attached a bunch of pictures from our day today- hope you enjoy them!

FINALLY!!!!! the pics are ADORABLE And Zeke is HUGE! the summer "do" makes him look so much older too! I was VERY disappointed NOT to see pics of the backyard! It's done, at least show those!!!!! Love ya amanda
I would love to but at the moment there is more siding/wood/crap in it than is pretty much imaginable. It was a bit much for this VERY anal-retentive mom to come home to...but hey, I get a new sliding door! (This is the mantra I keep telling myself in order not to yell at my adorable husband who would TOTALLY not deserve it!!)
Hallelujah! I second everything Amanda said. Zeke is getting so old. I love the picture of you and elijah; you look very Hollywood! :) Love ya!
Kelley
Glad to read a new post! I go from JoEllen's to yours to Kelley's; it was getting frustrating not reading anything new.
Thanks for the update Holly! I'm looking forward to seeing pics of the deck and landscaping. We did that here a couple of years ago and I remember it was a huge undertaking. I'm sure you'll be glad to have it all finished and cleaned up so you can really enjoy it!
YAY FOR UPDATES! Is the tatoo new?
Hey Holly! We wondered where in the world you had been ... great pictures! One of these days we'll take pictures of our tattoos for you to see too.
D&A
Shelly and I went together to get our tattoos about a month after Ava died. It's quite a story that I really should share sometime! BTW- Dan, I saw yours in a pic somwhere... and Angie I saw yours a few weeks after you got it when we met at McDonalds (remember?) I remeber thinking you guys were so po-mo! HA!!
OH,tbs- I know who you are, I'm still petitioning for the start or your blog!
Great pictures...thanks for updating your blog...you inspired me to update mine. I can't quit checking to see if someone has put a new post out. This blogging is addicting.
Wow, a new deck, someday, someday... We're in such crummy housing. We can't even paint! To answer your question... Isaac is 3, Emma is 2, and Lily is 1. There's 14 months between the first two, then 19 months, and then the last two (Lily and Alivia)are almost exactly 12 months apart.
We're here for three years also, but may extend another year (for the big bucks!)
You can tell by the comments that it is a good thing you posted. Everyone has had to resort to reading the newspaper.
Glad you sent the update and the pictures. Sorry I didn't get to come by to see you in person or go to church Sunday. But I did go to church just not Dayspring. That was to clarify I did go somewhere. Take care and don't wait this long again.OK
Love to all
Carolyn
Thanks for reading my ramblings
WOW, I was so relieved to see your new blog. I was ready to call and beg! :) I can't wait to see the new deck and slider pictures!!
The kids are adorable as usual!! Zekie's new hair cut is so cute but he looks so old. I hate to lose our baby! I guess we will have to wait on Andrea and Jon to give us our next baby to love.
Love ya,
Mom Grate
The excitement of a new post - and a long one too! Sounds like you all are having a fun summer! You inspire me to take the kids out and run in the sprinkler or something since I spend most of my time indoors! We will see...
Holly,
I miss ya girl! We def have to catch up soon. I don't have your phone no. Girl, your kids are gorgeous and you are looking so well my friend! I was just reading an article about gospel music as it's getting big here in Ireland and thought of "On Jordan's stormy banks I stand ....." Remember those "Invitation" days? Oh, how I miss 'em. We are having a blast in Ireland though. Neve Kaelin is huge (3 next week) and Aidan Scott is nearly 10 months. Love ya loads and lots of hugs my friend. Give me your phone no. and quick!
you are just too hip.

Myrna-too funny you should mention ev today. Was just thinking this afternoon with them in IN we could spend some quality time! I would LOVE to do Homecoming this year. It's a plan. See you both there.
OK! Enough all you freakishly talented choir freaks with the inside jokes! I feel like the old dorm days when I was the "one NOT in choir who just KNEW the ones who can sing!" I'm gonna boycott! hee hee...just kidding Holls! Love ya! A
i will change the name of my blog to "freakishly talented choir freak" - it's got a nice ring. love you, manda!
how many comments does this make now, 5,326???? You suck!
Yep, we're all related...my mom and Deb's mom are sisters. Their side got the sports abilities (and red hair), and our side got the musical talent (no offense, Deb and Doug).
I can't believe you have over 20 comments!
Hey Holly - thanks for the note on our blog! I come over to check yours out every now and then, and I've always wanted to say "hi", but I wasn't sure you'd remember me. It was FOREVER ago at Plymouth Wesleyan! I've run into Jason several times, but I'm pretty sure the last time I saw you was just after you had your first baby! Great to hear from you! :)
All I want to say is... 22 comments. Amazing.
I have to say...comment numbers climb for you but I think we need to look at the fact that you have 3 of comments. It is not fair to stack the comments to make your blog look more popular!
Hey cuz! The kids are huge and they are precious. I wish we lived closer so that we could all get together now and then. Anyway loved the blog and check in a little more often. Love to you and the fam!
Holly, I would have to agree with everyone else...blogging is VERY addicting, great to have an update, and amazing that you have so many comments...I must say I am slightly jealous. I need more friends :) :)
Michelle
Holly- I keep forgetting to add my 2 cents! You look like you are enjoying your kids! Thats great. Like Jaena said, you inspired me to get the sprinkler out...and let Caislyn go running through!
Keep up the blogging...you have BIG Fan Club! Just look at all these comments, lady! WOW!
